.....continued, North Island trip

We moved on to Waitomo after Hamilton. This place is famous for its blackwater rafting and glowworms caves. We did not go for any of these activities as the kids are too young to participate in the water rafting, and for the caves tour, I could foreseen us being a nuisance in the group with the kids making too much noise and touching the walls of the caves.

We had one of the two best meals (in this vacation) over here, and tasted a fruit (feijoa) which we liked so much that we brought back two dozens of them when we were about to leave NZ. Hahaa..., if we happened to meet earthember, think she will gladly gave us the bag of feijoa she had been given.

Detour to Kawhia while going to Waitomo.

The place we stayed: Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge

Visit to Otorohanga town.

To see the angora rabbits at the Shearing Shed.

A expansive satisfying and happy lunch at Roselands.

Went to Altura Park after lunch.

....more to come.
