Am I too impatient?

Why is it so difficult for some people to reply email which stated clearly the sender needed some help or posted question? A simple acknowledgement on the receipt of the mail and letting the sender know whether you are able to help or not, will help to ease the mind of the requestor. Everyone knows it is politeness to answer people when being asked, and keeping quiet is considered rude. So why can't this rule be applied to mails?

Forwarded some questionnaire to Eu's teachers to help facilitate his reassessment with the clinic. No reply, no call, nothing. It's been three days. Even calling the school doesn't help. I'm getting edgy as the appointment date is drawing near. Am I the one here with problem or I should be more understanding? It's school holiday, maybe teachers do not need to check emails.

Mommy sent me back to daycare!

Yes, decided that would be best for him, and to prevent "just play computer games and watch tv" episode from happening. Anyway, he is happy with the arrangement. Asked him if he prefer to wear home clothes or the old uniform, he said uniform.

To MIL

She was not the perfect MIL DIL would hope for, but neither am I a DIL from heaven. However, she will always have my respect as a strong widow who had brought up two young children on her own. I am also grateful that she had chosen a timing that was so thoughtful, where the exams was over and also not clashed with our holiday plan. The whole event was so much less sorrowful due to the presence of Eu and Tien. Their innocence words, they danced and played. I thinked they had made MIL happy too. There is no more suffering and pain for her. She is at peace now. Goodbye MIL!

My 1st pair of heels!

Daddy bought her a pair of toy slippers. She was so excited over it. Immediately when we reached home, she had the wrapper torn opened, put the slippers on her feet and started walking round the house. It was amusing looking at her walking carefully in heels. It sure brings back my childhood memories where I had my first pair of heels. Was a year or two older than Tien now. A pair of platform with nylon netting. An "IN" thing then!

School lesson #1

Always photocopy a set of spelling list and put it in a safe place, if your kid needs to bring the list to school everyday.

Eu did not bring back his file, which contained both the English and Chinese spelling lists, last Friday. His next spelling will be on Wednesday. I hope he had either found his file and will bring it back today or, his teachers had help to give him another set of the lists and he will bring that back today. Otherwise, I will be hating myself for not being wise enough.
