My K2 spelling list

I was totally bewildered when I saw Eu's spelling list, his first spelling list from school. Every week there will be two spelling sessions, English on Monday and Chinese on Friday. There are ten words to learn for English and five characters for Chinese. I could hardly breathed looking at the column for the first week. From January all the way to October. Oh gosh! How often, even I need to refer back to the calender to make sure I spelled the first two months correctly. Maybe I'm being paranoid. Probably I have been a care-less parent. But I do feel sorry for my son. The hash reality of the Singapore education system is starting to bite.
