School life updates
Tien has adjusted well into her class, and is comfortable with her teachers. Unfortunately, one of the teacher had decided to leave, and is replaced by a new teacher. She will cry when I drop her off in the morning if her familiar Chinese teacher is not around, and there's only the new teacher in the class. *sigh*
She displays a total different set of character in school, as compared at home. She does not fight over toys with other kids, but will give it up willingly and look for other stuff that interest her. *gasp* She loves and enjoys doing puzzles according to the teachers. At home, she will just throw the pieces all over the place.

Here's some pics taken by her teachers:
Eu has showed improvement on his writing and coloring skills. Is able to write numeric characters well, and individual alphabet in big and small cap. Has started to use and explore more colours in painting. On reading, which really amaze me, he is able to recognize simple Chinese words and read out simple story books by himself.

I like these pix.
Really able to tell what the kids are doing in school. You went and spend a day with them or these are taken by the teacher.
Are they in the same school? I like Tien's activities. I wonder if I can find a nursery here which does all that.

Good to learn that Tien is adjusting well. She'll learn to like the new teacher soon. Sounds like Eu is also doing well. Maybe his teacher over-reacted last time...
Usually, kids behave differently in school huh...mine also like that. Timid like a mice in the school but a terror at home!

Seems like both Tien and Eu enjoys school, that's good.I'm sure you feel more at ease now. :)
Yeah, agreed with what sesame said, the teacher told me Damien is rather quiet in class, i was like: Huh? you mean this chatterbox is quiet in class?? ;p
How's Eu's assessment? Hope all is fine now! :)

wow, your kid's school good leh...still take photos for you....mine only takes the excursion photos, daily school, bo!
think it's quite normal for your kid to feel insecured when her favourite teacher is gone but give them some time, they will adjust just fine!!! it's just the initial stage and plus I realise all the kids do behave differently in school and at home....completely the opposite usually...kekeke

Hahhaa.., the photos most probably is the result of me bugging the teachers for years (since Eu been with the school). The school takes many wonderful pics of the children, in class, play and field trips, but its the property of the school. You offer them money, also not for sale. But surprisely, I was given quite a couple of the pics during the last PTM, though just normal paper print. Better than nothing lah!
Eileen, thanks for your concern abt Eu. He had went for an assessment in a private clinic, and is currently undergoing therapy. Though, not suffering from AHD, but is having some processing, speech and interaction problem.

Good to hear Tien is liking school. It's such a relief when they do, isn't it?
And great to hear about Eu's progress and see his artwork!
