Now that makes more sense

Finally, the government has upped childcare leaves from two days to six. I have never understood how they had came up with two days of childcare leaves when they are trying so hard to get people to have more children. Even when both parents take turn to claim the leaves to care for their children during the closure of the childcare center, it is not enough because the center is allowed to close for 5 additional days apart from official holidays. Matters will get even more complicated if you happen to have place your children at different centers, as the leaves do not multiply by the number of children you have. Now, with six days each, I am definitely more comfortable when the childcare center announce its closure.

Tien found all these girly stuffs from the internet. They are really fun and cute. Seeing her concentrating in front of the monitor screen makes me laugh. The games are all in Korean, but that doesn't hinder her from playing and she is loving it!

Something happy, something not so happy

Eu's team had came in 1st in the school's performance. He should have been very happy and proud of it, but he came home upset and angry. He had pushed and hit two schoolmates, and was told to sit at the back of the hall. He knew he had upset his teacher who had selected and taught him. He was angry with himself for spoiling the celebration which the class was promised.

I told him to learn from the lesson, and not to have such incident again. Friday will be another celebration in school. Keeping my fingers crossed that he will come back all smiling.
