Mommy, I think I want to poo...

Eu has finally started pooing in the toilet bowl this month. The diaper can hardly cover his bottom properly now's a day and there isn't much space left to contain the poo too. Still he refused to use the toilet bowl nor the potty. He can get so excited seeing Tien using the potty, but when comes his turn, he will plead for a diaper.

I have tried all sorts of methods I can think of, read of. His poo can just vanish almost immediately everytime I put him on the potty or take off the diaper from him. Just when I was about to give up, letting matter to take its own way, Eu decided to give the toilet bowl a try.

We were at the pool, it was his first swimming lesson. He whispered: "Mommy, I think I want to poo poo!" "We use the toilet bowl, ok?" I asked. "I'll try" was his reply. It was a successful attempt. Both of us were happy and proud! Six days later, he willingly went to the toilet and for the past two days too. Yipee!

For mommy

Had a pleasant surprise from the kids when I reached home after work. Such a long time I have not seen crafts done by them or work brought back from school.

NZ - North Island trip

The vacation was originally planned to happen in December, last year. I did not think that air tickets to Auckland was like hotcakes, and waited till I settled accomodation before approaching the airline. And to my disappointment, was told the flights I'm looking at were fully booked. With the outlook of getting seats on the waitlist not too good, I decided to postphone it to April which will coincide with the hot-air balloon festival over there. That definitely put back some excitement over the delay.

We stayed in Hamilton for three nights, at A&A Countrystay.

Balloons Over Waikato festival

Hobbiton Movie Set tour in Matamata

Hamilton Zoo

Hamilton Gardens

to be continued....
