Eu
An enthusiactic boy who has put in a lot of effort in dealing with his peer relationships in the last two terms. Has shown a tremendous progress in his reading skills and is able to read simple sight words on his own now. He has gained more awareness in letter sounds and is able to read three and four letter words while listening to the blends. Eu puts in great effort when constructing his sentences orally to communicate his ideas and opinions during circle time. Eu enjoys math activities and has done well in this subject area. He enjoys the outdoors and always has a good time. He is more confident in using outdoor apparatus and participates in outdoor relay games.
Tien
Tien's warm and loving nature has enabled her to make some good friends in class. She plays well with her class mates and understands the concept of turn-taking and sharing. During circle time, Tien enjoys singing and doing the actions to familiar tunes. She also listens attentively to stories and is able to participate and engage in discussions about the stories by looking at the pictures. Tien's language development has progressed very well this term. Is able to string several words together and speak in short sentences. She is able to communicate her needs effectively to her teachers, independent learner and can feed herself. This term, she has also mastered toilet training.
