All aboard!

Fun time!

Stuff daddy got for us

I would say hubby's taste and skill on shopping for the kids has improved significantly over the years. The first time he bought clothes for Eu was a disaster. Eu could squeeze into none of them, no matter how hard we tried pulling at the clothes. Daddy was real disappointed.

This round, he had brought back some very nice clothings for Eu and Tien. Some of them were from Genuine Kids, a cheaper sub-brand from OshKosh for Target stores. When comes to clothing brand names, hubby knows nuts about them, so this really shows his taste has upgraded. Good sign!

This pretty Ralph Lauren looking blouse is actually from Genuine Kids. Costed a small fraction of what you need to fork out if you buy from the Polo outlets in Singapore. Colour just right for Chinese New Year!

Other than clothes, hubby also bought a mickey mouse DVD for the kids. They are just so into watching mickey mouse cartoons. Can view the same disc over and over again, and still laugh!

Hooray! Daddy is back.

Seems like quite a couple of mommy bloggers' hubbies had been away, and mine was too. That explained for my missing in action for my blog. No, I did not go with him, but was assigned with the task of taking care of the kids. He even sent me a message through his mobile to remind me of this great duty, before he board the plane. Where's my kisses, huh?!

It wasn't easy looking after two monkeys active toddlers who are always at log-head when they are together, but I managed to return them to daddy in good shape. So proud of myself!

My 3 star baby

This is for crazymommy, here's some things my sum seng eighteen months old (in two days time, yeah!) will do:

1) Climb up my bed and do the springboard jump
2) Trying to climb up the dinning table chair, though her legs could hardly reach the seat yet.
3) Pull you by the shirt or collar (mind you, she does have the strength) to the place she wants you to, if you do not oblige.
4) Stick out her leg and trip her kor-kor
5) Elbow her kor-kor
6) Act as the victim in a fight, though she was the bully

She has the making of a gangster, doesn't she? Yeks!

**Sum seng: three star in hokkien. Used to describe children that are mischievous or love doing daring acts. The origin of this descriptive word came from a secret society that was known as the three star gang.

A new year begins with....

1. A new home
Managed to get the critical reno work completed before the planned move day, and did the move. Had everything unpacked in three days, and realized storage space was much lesser than before, though on paper wise, floor area did go up and there are more cabinets and wardrobe now. Strange!

Views from my bedroom, 2006 New Year's fire-works.

2. Eu turned four

3. Maidless
Something I have been looking forward to. Dismissed my domestic helper. She was engaged to look after Tien. I wouldn't say she did a wonderful job, in fact, I get so frustrated with her that I am slimmer now than I was before getting pregnant with Tien. The only good value she had, which was the sole reason for not replacing her, was her patience with Tien. Even when Tien was having big time tantrum, she was neither irritated nor angry at every temper Tien threw. That's one credit I always reminded myself, to bear with the mistakes and errors she made, so long the basic needs of Tien is taken care of.
